His ear fell off???
Bad attitude. He didn’t really want to be there.
Ears, Eyes, range is hot.
I’ve heard of ‘shooting off your mouth’, but ‘shooting off your ear’?.........
Another loser playing lawsuit lotto. Every shooting range I go has you sign a release saying you acknowledge shooting is inherently dangerous and you release the range from all liability. Most shooting ranges I’ve seen rent pretty good ear protection, maybe not the best but pretty good. I’d guess he either didn’t have them on or didn’t have them on right. I hope he gets nothing and has to defendant’s court costs.
I wonder if it’s this guy:

Funny that lawsuits would come up when you Google that name.
When he found out they offered no hearing protection why didn’t he turn around and walk out???
Just as it is mine when I'm using power tools on home carpentry projects.
Every range I have been to warns and demands all who at the range whether they are on the line or not use at all times hearing protection and safety glasses.
At all times and I have seen guys who weren’t getting the message ejected from the range.
You don’t incur that kind of damage from just one visit to the range. Hearing loss is cumulative. I’ve experienced it from the old days when, if anything was used for hearing protection, it consisted of cotton balls. Now when trying to sleep at night, the constant whistling and chirping sounds I hear remind me of nights in the jungle. I just wish somebody would answer that darned phone...
Another democrat looking for a free ride.
Oh for the love of Christ....this is news?
Let me guess, another student “from Kenya”? What is this, a law school project?
Perfect storm:
1) TYPICAL chip on shoulder “minority” looking for a free ride.
2) Most anti-gun state in the union.
3) Adjacent to the most notorious infestation of trial lawyer scum and courts on the planet, the utter cesspool of Madison County, IL.
all ranges I go to post at the door a notice that requires YOU to bring and wear hearing and eye protection while in their ranges...
....most sell plugs and headphones(and safety glasses) to those who forgot them.
but it is your own business and your own fault if you do not wear them, either because you are ornery or just too stupid.
years ago there was no such requirements and i remember plugging my ears with cigarette filters...
heck I have seen R.Lee Ermey on his gun shows plugging his ears with .45ACP empty brass.....
My open air range requires both ear and eye protection to be on the range.....no exceptions.
