I am wondering whether the refusal to look at this by those on the other side, as well, if they had knowledge of that kind of corruption, would result in long term consequences. What about the media personalities who might have had hard evidence but chose to cover it? A conspiracy like this would require a lot of complicit people to carry it off. Blackmail, also, against those who might expose, such as, “If you tell on me for this, I will tell on you for that.” By and large, those in authority over us are a sorry lot!
