The battle over Syria has descended into sectarian strife led by extreme Salafists and other Islamic splinter organizations in a carefully orchestrated uprising coordinated and fueled by al-Qaeda operatives. The Free Syrian Army (FSA) is no longer the sole force in the fight against Assad. As in Egypt, in Syria the Muslim Brothers have succeeded in appropriating (some would call it hijacking) the revolt and ultimately becoming its backbone. Moreover, Muslim fighters from around the globe are coming to join the ranks in the battle against Assad. Yet, the majority of Syrians do not identify with these radicals.

Someone or some other country is obviously fomenting violence and strife in Syria. No one in the USA MSM or AP is going to know or tell us. But it is purposely being stirred up by someone.
This supposed spontaneous movement against Assad has been called a massacre. Hypothetically if a band of rebels in the USA took up arms against our USA government, you don’t think the repercussions would soon be a massacre of innocent people? We saw what happened when at Waco when a few private individuals told the government to stay out of their lives. It turned into a massacre of women and children just as in Syria and that is what would happen regardless of politics or political Party in power (left or right).
The world is being manipulated by certain interests who use the turmoil to make themselves money. The news media selectively covers it up and may decide not to even report all of it.
