As against being a smarty-pants know it all you mean LOL!

You wanna what I blame for that? Talking heads on the radio, talk-show hosts. Idiots being paid fortunes to spew their dimwitted nothings into the ether.

They are entertainers. Nothing more. And they have far far too much influence. The population has become an audience. It’s easier...but while you sit back and listen, the majority of these entertainers are lying to you. Peeing on your legs and telling you it’s raining.
THINKING HAS GONE OUT OF FASHION.

If Bill Ayres said, don’t worry, they’ll never notice, he was right. The majority didn’t notice.

I think one thing in my favor is I haven’t listened to radio in 11 years, and even before that it was occasional; and only had a TV two years since I left home at around age 17; those years were during the Clinton era anyway. Rarely watched anything even then.

IMHO TV and any kind of entertainment infomercial/talk stuff helps ruin cognitive thinking. What to speak of ads... (shudder horribly).
