I saw a youtube the other night of the last gal living on some block in Detroit (older white gal). She said she was waiting for a unit in some cheap housing to open up, she was wait-listed for 6 months. Bars on the inside and outside of her home. Across the street is the home where she grew up - all busted up and vacant. “And there is the tree that we had a rope swing...”
Even in the daylight with a new’s crew she was fearful pointing out the burnt-out, busted down homes from the garbage strewn suburban street. (And not another soul around).
But she did have a street lamp on, and near her house.
Well then those who need light should go to Home Depot and arange for outside lighting.....they know their city area is dangerous...otherwise time to move.
I make no apologies for saying they have got what they asked for....black or white or yellow makes no difference...they wanted a liberal/socialist caretaker city they got it.
It would not surprise me if her streetlight is on the list to be turned off.
