The contemporaneous (sic) witness thing has always bothered me too - where it applies to Dunham’s birthplace. The grandmother - who has no reason to lie- claims she witnessed his birth in Kenya.
But that’s all a sideshow and a distraction given the fact that had Dunham been born in the Capitol Rotunda on Lincolns dias, he would be no more eligible for the office than he is now.
