YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) -- Vice President Joe Biden has criticized the background of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney during a speech in swing state Ohio.
Speaking on a factory floor in Youngstown, Biden cast Romney as a corporate raider more interested in profits than in the needs of workers.

I doubt that Romney would have bragged about saving a company by spending three times it’s value to do so.
Øbama/biden is but a symptom of an illiterate electorate.
Hey factory workers ... the company you work for is interested only in profit !!
You just happen to be the cogs that turn that machine.
Followers of socialisn are so stupid.
This tactic won’t work. Not everyone has the political accuity of MA neanderthals.
It worked for Ted Kennedy. It won’t work for Obummer.
Obama/biden is also a symptom of a lazy and greedy electorate.Keep those government checks coming!!!
“The article doesn’t name the factory, but,,,”
Doesn’t have to,,, It’s Younstown, in the Mahoning River Valley. Not enough Pubs there to make a dent. Trafficante was the best to come outa there!
yes biden- meanwhile you have parasited off taxpayers all your life “serving” the public....
Sad, but very true!
Not to defend Romney, but I’d rather have a “Venture Capitalist” running our country, than a Marxist Communist.
I saw where Biden’s net worth is under a million dollars.
I mean to be in politics that long and not even have a net worth of at least a million dollars....How stupid do you have to be?
He has always been on gub'mint WELFARE. Biden has never had a real job.
Even as your boss went and campaigned among private equity firm CEOs the same day he called what they do “vampire capitalism.” Obama attacked Romney as a “vampire capitalist” the same day he fundraised among other private equity executives, including the CEO of Blackstone who defended Romney’s own private equity dealings thusly “The truth is that private equity creates jobs and is necessary for a healthy economy.” Even Obama’s own supporters say he’s full of crap attacking Romney and private equity firms.
Workers of the factory, ARISE! You’ve nothing to lose but your jobs!
Atleast Romney has had a real job and not been a government leech his entire life.

Biden was doing his usual routine talking about how his parents dreamed just like rich guys parents dream...while failing to mention the his father was a spoiled rich son of an Amoco Oil Company executive who was in the 1% during WWII as can be seen at this link from Bidens own bio:
“My dad was born in Baltimore in 1915, around the time his dad, Joseph H. Biden, had fallen in with a family called the Blausteins, helping them deliver kerosene door-to-door from a special tank rigged on a horse-drawn wagon. When the company anticipated the coming of the automobile age, they turned to gasoline and made a nice little company called American Oil Company (later Amoco). Joseph H. was shipped to Wilmington to run the American Oil operation there. Most summers, though, my father went to stay with his cousin, Bill Sheen Jr., who was like a brother to him. Old Man Sheen, Big Bill, was a tough, hard-drinking Irishman whowe were toldhad invented a sealant used for cemetery vaults. The Sheens had an estate in Baltimore hunt country andwithout putting too fine a point on itthey were wealthy. Every couple of years Big Bill would go out and buy new Cadillacs for himself, his wife, and his son. For his favored nephew, Joseph Biden, hed buy the newest Buick roadster. My dad grew up well polished by gentlemanly pursuits. He would ride to the hounds, drive fast, fly airplanes. He knew good clothes, fine horses, the newest dance steps.
“So when his own father, Joseph H. Biden, was transferred from Wilmington to Scranton, my dad drove his beautiful new four-hole Buick to Scranton for his last year of high school. He was something the Scranton Catholic schools had never seen, and his classmates gave him a pretty hard time for being such a swell. But my momJean Finnegan of North Washington Avenuefell head over heels in love. They were married in Scranton in May 1941.
“With the war on the way, the Sheens got a big contract to put their sealant on merchant marine ships that left from American ports, and my dad was swept into the new business. Big Bill ran the operation at the Norfolk, Virginia, shipyard, Bill Jr. ran new York; my dad took over the Boston operation. Bill Jr. and my dad lived high. Theyd pilot their private planes up and down the eastern seaboard, run over to the Adirondacks to hunt elk, and appear in the kitchen of Manhattans Barclay Hotel with a brace of quail for the chef to prepare. The Sheen did exceedingly well during the war, and my dad went along for the ride.”
It would be funny, if it didn’t portend such dangerous things, how politicians think money-making is so damn easy. Probably because they either grew up rich and/or did make money the easy way, i.e. by taking it at the point of a gun. What do they think capitalists do all day, count up all the people they’re sending to the bread line? Which I guess is why all the richest people spend 9 to 5 in empty factories, throwing wads of cash at their Fat Cat buddies, thanking the gods that they are no workers around to syphon off their lucre.
Nevermind about creative destruction. Nevermind that businesses have to be in trouble in the first place, which puts employment in jeopardy, before the “corporate raiders” step in. Politicians better watch it. There has to be something there for them to tax in order for Washington to keep gobbling up the nation’s wealth. There has to be profit for there to be revenue.
They know this, however much they pretend private enterprise is a drag on the economy and economic growth comes from government. Pretty soon they’re either gonna have to go whole hog, all-out for socialism and screw the masses while they live like the politburo class, or back off on the pirates of finance.
