The apostles creed is catholic. Lots of Christians have never said it.
"The apostles creed is catholic."Really???? How odd, we recite it in the Methodist church, the Episcopalians recite it, in fact most organized Christian churches do so. It may be of Catholic origin, but it is not "Catholic."

Yeah, and lots of Christians love Elvis and Obama just as much as they love Jesus.
I was raised Missouri Synod Lutheran and the Apostles Creed was right up there with the Lord's Prayer.
Just checked, the ninth line was edited to read "holy Christian Church" instead of "holy catholic Church".
On reading further I found this:
"The Apostles' Creed is an early statement of Christian belief, a creed or "symbol". It is widely used by a number of Christian denominations for both liturgical and catechetical purposes, most visibly by liturgical Churches of Western tradition, including the Latin Rite of the Catholic Church, Lutheranism, Anglicanism, and Western Orthodoxy. It is also used by Presbyterians, Methodists, and Congregationalists."
