Goodness knows they don’t get it in school. But we keep involved with the school stuff and provide the Conservative viewpoint to things. A few years ago she got an A on her science project poster: “There is no Man-made Global Warming”.
I just printed out an old article from 2004 (note the pre-stimulus packages date) from UCLA on how FDR extended the Depression for 7 years, as some “additional” information on what they are learning in class right now. A pertinent and scary excerpt:
“Why the Great Depression lasted so long has always been a great mystery, and because we never really knew the reason, we have always worried whether we would have another 10- to 15-year economic slump,” said Ohanian, vice chair of UCLA’s Department of Economics. “We found that a relapse isn’t likely unless lawmakers gum up a recovery with ill-conceived stimulus policies.”
