California Considers Legislation Making it a Crime to Counsel Children Not to Be Homosexual
CNSNews ^ | May 9, 2012 | Pete Winn

Posted on 05/10/2012 7:03:15 AM PDT by Qbert

(CNSNews.com) - Conservative pro-family groups in California are making preparations to challenge what they call a “dangerous” bill banning "reparative therapy" for teens that is on a fast track through the California State Senate.

California Senate Bill 1172 would make it illegal for therapists, psychologists, counselors and parents to engage in any kind of “sexual orientation change efforts” against children 18 and younger.

Violators could be subject to arrest, fines, possible jail time.

The bill, which passed out of a legislative committee Tuesday on a 5-3 vote, would also require adults to sign a consent form before they could seek therapy or counseling to change their sexual orientation.

Brad Dacus, president of the Pacific Justice Institute of Sacramento, Calif., pledges to challenge the constitutionality of the measure in the courts, if it passes the Legislature.

“This legislation is a grotesque violation of the rights of parents over their children,” said Dacus, who testified against the bill Tuesday.

He said the bill, which targets reparative therapy, could also lead to parents losing custody of their children to the state if they seek therapy for their youngsters.

“It specifically prohibits any child under the age of 18 who struggles with homosexuality from getting any kind of professional counseling at all, period,” Dacus told CNSNews.com.

“In fact, it also subjects parents to possibly having their children permanently removed from them if it is found that the parents were not accepting of a child’s perception of being homosexual and the parents want the child to get counseling.”

“If the parents are not totally accepting of this sexual orientation, then that is deemed abuse and gives the government grounds to permanently take the child from the parents.

Your children do not belong to you. Don’t you know that? They belong to the state. One of these days, after children are born and reach a certain age, you’ll have to turn them over to the state. Didn’t this happen in Germany some time back?

Parents, too. It is illegal for PARENTS to advise their children on personal matters such as these.

When you approach California, there should be signs: "YOU ARE LEAVING THE UNITED STATES, PLEASE HAVE YOUR PASSPORT READY."

Wonder how many of these are kids who are being raised by queer "parents"?

Naw... THAT particular problem is still years away.

You've heard of La Reconquista and the Atzlan movement? Certain fringe groups in Mexico want to retake a lot of the Southwest US and 'repatriate' it back into Mexico.

Sh*t, dawg, I say let them have California. Maybe THEY can make the place liveable and sane again.

He pulled the whole “Gays are committing suicide” and that I was ok with bullying those kids. Here’s a fun one. He said that it’s ok to be gay as long as they aren’t having sexual relations...

HOW MUCH MORE of this politically correct CRAP are we going to TAKE?????

Yesterday Sean Hannity was discussing the recent moves by the Food Nazis in Massachusetts to regulate what kids eat OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL!!!

He had some food Nazi named Susan Levin on also. She was complaining about people eating out too much, eating too much processed meats, eating too much meat, etc, etc.

FOX had Judge Napolitano on this morning. He said the TSA has no COngressional authority to carry out the intrusive pat-downs and friskings of Americans they have been engaged in for the past several years and only get away with it because WE LET THEM!!!!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!!

Conservatives and rational people have to become MORE MILITANT!!!!!!

A democratic Republic only works if the people MAKE IT WORK!!!

Americans must take back their governments AND THEIR LIVES from these odious career politicians and bureaucratic technocrats ANY WAY WE CAN!!!

If you saw the neighbor boy trying to stick his penis in a knothole in the fence or into his cat, you’d yell at him for trying to mate with a knothole or a cat. But, if he sticks his penis into another man’s anal canal in an attempt to mate, or if a woman tries to mate with an electrified rubber instrument, that’s OK? They are as insane as a kid trying to mate with a knothole.

People don’t understand how the “homosexual is good” worldview would fundamentally force the pagan/atheist paradigm and eject the Constitution which is based on The Laws of Nature and nature’s God. This “simple” issue would eliminate parental control over the worldview of their children—eliminate the Christian/judeo Ethics and sexualize children because they will be forced to learn about sex at age four when they are trying to classify and make sense of the world. This forced ideology that homosexuals can marry destroys logic and reasoning in children as was fixed in The Age of Reason and will make them focus on sex instead of intellectual pursuits.

We will eliminate true education as even understood by Rousseau and institute the sexualization of children like in pagan Greece were children were used for sex—mostly the boys and men. They will grow up with an obsession for sex like the boys in Afghanistan—who love sodomy with men. They can’t wait to have a harem of boys of their own when they grow up.

Read Brave New World—where mother and father are repulsive concepts and children are programed at birth and sexually active at 4. Ugly, inhumane world. It is Marxism —the utopian society.

Marxists need to destroy the natural family and God to get total control of the world. Children are easy to shape and mold and slaves of emotions and urges into believing anything is “Right and Good” if they are fed propaganda 24/7 by pedophiles and Glee programs and a school system which forces moral relativism—(there is no right and wrong, it is what “feels good”.

He has a response to everything that baffles me so much, I can’t respond without running the response through my head for a few days.

Common reaction. The argument of the common liberal is so utterly seperated from reality that it baffles conservatives, AT FIRST. I would double-down and engage this guy as often as possible -- not to convert him, but to increase your ability to think on your feet.

Major suggestion is to question EVERY assumption. If this guy argues, it will often be from a starting assumption that is invalid. And, as you know, if you have a divide-by-zero anywhere in a proof, you can prove that 1=2.

Use him as a good sparring partner for when the real fights come, later in life.

I do from time to time. I don’t bring it up though. I have other friends that I spar with to keep me thinking coherently. It’s a long car ride. 35 min one way.

He lives on assumptions and random “studies”. I’ll say something and he’ll refute it with a random study that is done by elementary kids (not really, but he pulls them out of crazy places).

My all-time favorite comment of his was that He wouldn’t shoot to kill someone that was raping his mom or sister. You can’t argue with that. It’s illogical and stupid. No point in lowering myself to that line of thinking.

Because of what my wife does I've become aquainted with a number of gays over the years. To a person they've suffered from other personality defects - narcissistic personality disorder, schizophrenia, anger issues. Their personal lives typically are a mess -in and out of relationships, can't manage their finances, etc.

IMO its obvious that homosexuality is a symptom of deeper psychological issues. Its amazing that the left has been as successful as they have at socially normalizing it.

I'd make it a point to check a few of these 'studies', he might be making them out, outright.

Come back the next day and tell him you looked up the study and it either didn't exist, or didn't say what he said, and he'll be forced to not cite these fabrications.
