Really kind of sick that a Father would place the responsibility for a morally controversial decision on his children’s shoulders. What if they grow up and are troubled by being a primary reason for something they later decide they personally do not agree with? Actually , it is rather sick.

To follow up with what I said....

Imagine if a ruler went to his child after a criminal had been convicted of theft and said to his child "What shall we do with this criminal?" And the Child said "chop him into 3 pieces". Not only is that unfair to the criminal, but also to the child because it is sick to allow a child to pass arbitrary moral judgements of which they cannot possibly really grasp what they are doing.
