Funny - the dinosaurs say the same thing about scientists.
I thought the dinosaurs were killed off by a comet. Or a volcanic eruption. Or an ice age.
Certainly not because it got warmer. Dinosaurs like it warm.
So now we’re saying that the creatures of Jurrasic Park caused global warming tens of millions of years ago????
Geez, who knew???????
I always wondered if Cro-Magnon Man and Neanderthals caused global warming with their campfires. But it sounds like global warming goes way back before the ascent of man.
The dinosaurs were not the only ones full of gas. Is being a complete imbecile a pre-requisite for being one of these “scientists”?
I am being to question all scientific findings. Perhaps the earth is flat and the sun revolves around us.
If dinosaur flatulence caused climate change that triggered the ice age, then considering all the refried beans that were consumed this Cinco de Mayo weekend, we’re DOOMED!

The problem with this hypothesis is that the really big herbivores lived for many millions of years with no problems. They actually became rarer just before dinosaur extinction. And the dinosaurs did not become extinct because of too much DGW (dinosaurian global warming), for the climate was very gradually cooling at the end of the Cretaceous Period. Evceryone should have been happen, one would think. Several large groups of dinosaurian reptiles were doing fine right until the end.
Not only dinosaurs went extinct at the end of the Cretaceous. Ammonites also disappeared (after a successful run of some 150,000,000 years), along with rudists, and several large oysters which hitherto had been common. Yet plants seem to have been very little bothered by whatever happened.
Crocodilians, the closest living relatives to dinosaurs (if we do not count birds!), survived. The horseshoe crabs continued as if nothing had happened. Possums were also not bothered, and various archaic mammals survived, as did the birds.
I’s say his research may have been overly influenced by an excess of single malt.
You just can’t make this stuff up.

While this article scores high on conventional wisdom and political relevance, it is absurd. There is geological evidence for the comet but none for this sudden overheating. The climate was quite hot then in comparison with today. Geological evidence supports the dinosaurs being in decline near the end. The climate has been in a constant state of change forever. Oh well, I’m sure this will go over well with the folks that want to kill 90% of us to save Gaia.
