Yes, I have read countless posts about Romney advocating abortion and same sex marriage from those who will not vote for Romney over Obama.

I had not read (and once again, that is MY fault) that Romney was following the courts in all of this. Others had suggested differently, but please don’t think I’m blaming anyone except myself for not reading.

Like most, I don’t consider Romney to be some type of conservative like others in the republican field. We’ve had primaries, and other than Ron Paul, whose campaign is still ongoing, Romney is the last one standing. That is the fault of “us”, collectively, for berating and insulting every other candidate for not being “conservative” enough.
Maybe we should have thought about that circular firing squad. In 2008, those who claimed they could not vote for McCain said it would teach the republican party a lesson. The lesson taught, unfortunately, was to our country and our families.

Perhaps DEMs crossing over into PUB primaries had something to do with it.

Here in INDIANA we have long time Senator Lugar begging Independants and DEMs to vote for him in the primary!

Don't blame anyone but yourself for ignoring the information I linked for you that contradicts that. He did not follow the courts. Under our system of government the governor is fully independent from the judiciary and is under no legal compulsion to enforce any judicial decision. Particularly an un-Constitutional decision that the legislature has not made law. The legislature does have the sole authority to write laws in our republic does it not?
