To me, respecting the conscience of fellow FReepers includes NOT declaring my own ABO view to be the only Biblical view and NOT declaring the voting intentions of another FReeper to be a vote “for evil.”
I will vote for the candidate who will do the LEAST DAMAGE to what is left of my precious Republic!

I, myself, will have to see the long term results of this 'truce' before I donate again to FR (I'm not a big donor). My dollars will go to support conservative candidates around the country, but not to a place where I fearfully and rarely post just because I hate unbridled Marxism and say it.
Sorry, but I know I'm not alone in this, and I doubt some will ever come back after the things that have gone on here and the fear that posting the evil of Obama will get you zotted.
Regardless of the inadequacy of the GOP candidate, this is the most pivotal election in our lifetime (and mine goes back to Truman). I fear that, if FR doesn't change its tune, it will become irrelevant.

Well as you said...that is "to you"...others will disagree because we all know Romney is bad for this country....that is a given. But you are free to vote for him....but you are not free to expect that to go unchallenged on a Conservative site....Romney is a socialist...I do not vote for socialists nor support those who do.
My contention is that Romney will completely destroy the Conservative wing of the republican party, then it won't really matter whether the republicans or democrats are in power.
Note how Eric Cantor is encouraging democrats to vote for Lugar in Indiana's open primary.
When Michelle Bachman tried to defund ObamaCare after the TEA party gave the house to the GOP, the House Majority leader shut her down. Tell me again how the GOP will do less damage? Well I doubt they would actually set up a king, but like currently you can actually be a king with EO's until they are over ruled either by congress or the courts, or a new president who then becomes the new king.
