Attention "Anyone But Obama" (ABO) FReepers! If you go to the thread at the link you will will see that JimRob has "declared a truce" and hundreds of ABO FReepers are now vigorously defending their belief, which I share, that the ineligible Marxist Manchurian MUST BE DEFEATED to preserve the Republic...without fear of "the ZOT"! Please consider a DONATION not just to fund renewal of expression and amplification of your ABO views, but let's over-achieve this FReepathon to get JR his new equipment!

IMO, Free Republic and FReepers could be vital in swing states in rallying just enough conservatives to tip the election and prevent our troops from having to salute for even one day longer than necessary an ineligible Marxist committed to destroying the USA !

Go back and reread the mockery, sarcasm, anger, arrogant belittling of others and emotional lack of control in your posts, Elsie.

As one who believes in the inerrancy of Scripture, as I do, I'm sure you can find plenty of references to where all of those things are sin.

I would suggest starting with Galatians 5:22 and going from there.

Peace, Brother. May God show us both the sin that still remains in us and turns us away from doing His will and reflecting His love and grace.

And may we BOTH understand what it truly means to 'defend the faith' and do it in His Love.

Nobody here on this tread...that I've read is trying to win someone to Christ.

I didn't say win, I said no one is going to come to Christ via the brow beating that is visible here, if anything, the exact opposite will occur. There is a difference. What occurred in this thread is repulsive.

I generally see...people here warning others about false religions. ie: mormonism.

It isn't false to the people whose belief system it is, and if you don't like it, don't believe it and don't support it, that's fine, but you can keep that **** to yourself.

I figure that's your rub....though, and you call it, bigotry.

Actually, I don't. I'm lucky to remember what I had for breakfast these days, and that was a LONG time ago.

(Though I used to enjoy being in the trenches with you fighting for the truth in Genesis and the importance of understanding the accuracy of Creation. However, it's been a lot of years and I don't miss the blood from some of those battles.....)

A few points:

I don't think there's a single Freeper who doesn't get how evil Obama is. Not voting for Romney has zero to do with misconceptions about Obama. Personally, it makes me sick that I can't vote to get that ---blank----out.

No, Romney isn't a saint, not with the blood he has on his hands from enabling abortion, and the cozying up to homosexuals he likes to do. I don't care whether you vote for Romney or not, but let's not whitewash him in order to feel better about doing so.

I agree with you that Romney probably doesn't hate America like Obama does. But there are so many other insurmountable factors when it comes to voting for him.

Based upon eyewitness testimony -- the same kind of testimony that's enough to send somebody to the gallows/electric chair -- Christians believe that the resurrection of Jesus was a "fact." Then Eastforker comes along this thread and inadvertently bashes the historical resurrection as "non-factual"...

Who says Christianity offers "no evidence" of the resurrection of Christ? (Not Christians). Hence, whereas Christians say such evidence exists...that these leads to the same as "facts" established in say, a trial...Eastforker has come on this thread to absolutely proclaim no such "evidence" or "facts" could possibly exist for the resurrection of Christ.

That is an attack upon Christianity; it ridicules the resurrection; and it bashes our belief in the resurrection as "news"...
