I seems to me that clicking "like" got people fired from their jobs. Just why isn't this worthy of judicial attention?

From the article:"According to the Plaintiffs, after learning of their support of their opponent, the Sheriff called a meeting in which he informed his employees that they should get on the 'long train' with him rather than riding the 'short train' with his opponent," according to court documents.

They were fired because the sheriff tried to curtail their political choices. That's government activism in itself, and so is a judge who claims clicking a [Like] button on Facebook is different than making a comment. Both are government activism at its worst. That was my point and I stand by it.

FaceBook is evil and it brings evil.

LOL. Yeah the way that I keep in touch with family and friends all over the world is pure evil. And keeping up with organizations I'm interested in (instead of them flooding my e-mail inbox with spam) is satanic!

According to this three were sworn uniformed deputies.

Without looking at your link... if that is true, then union rules do not defend members from breaking ranks with the Sheriff... what does that tell you?

I know Police Departments are unionized, but I am not so sure that Sheriff’s offices are. Besides that Virginia is a right to work state, so even if a company, or other entity, has unions working for it, you do not have to join the union to work there.
