If Zimmerman goes free, every major city in the United States with a large black population will burn.

And all this will happen on Obama's watch. And people who voted for him will think "Even having a black president will not buy peace. Maybe it's time to go the other way."

They may be figuring that any acquittal will happen after November so there won't be any riots before then.

It does seem likely that Zimmerman, if he isn't murdered, will spend the next ten or more years either in prison or fighting lawsuits. Any chance of a normal productive life is gone. All the facts could have been exactly the same and he might have been exonerated as acting in legitimate self-defense if Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Tavis Smiley, and the other media types had not latched on to the story.
