Well, I think there’s one thing nearly all of us can agree on... the GOP has done a masterful job of ****ing up what was once a promising opportunity to unseat Obama. Instead, it’s set conservative vs. conservative, GOPer vs. GOPer, etc.

Remember those early GOP debates last year in which ideas and positivity ruled the day? Then came Romney, who proceeded to poison the waters and nothing was ever the same again.

This all could’ve gone SO damned much better had that evil bastard Romney stayed on the sidelines.

Thanks, Mitt. Well, you got your nefarious wish, didn’t you???

“We will stand up in this election to bring about the change that won’t just win an election, but will transform America,” he said wrapping up the speech of nearly 30 minutes.

Voting for Mitt stops Obama’s transformation of America.

And, I trust Sarah Palin and Dick Cheny’s experience , judgment and morales.

Both support Mitt and are not GOPe or RINO’s.

How does one justify helping Obama stay in power?

Not even a question for me. Either you are actively voting in a way that gets Barack Obama out of office, or you aren’t. All the rationales, reasonings, justifications, holier-than-thou explanations are fine, but if they don’t result in getting Barack Hussein Obama out of office, YOU’VE KEPT HIM IN. Live with yourself.

I will walk into the booth and vote for all candidates who:

Don’t favor killing babies, or paying for others to kill babies
Don’t favor the erosion of marriage, or support gay marriage
Don’t favor government power through mandates

Are conservatives who:

Favor smaller and limited government
Favor lower taxes
Favor the preservation of liberty
Favor sound money
Favor lower debt

Starting with the top of the ticket, I vote for candidates who meet these criteria.

If I see a choice between two candidates who are abortion loving, gay marriage loving,
government loving liberals, I will move to the next race.

I’m in no hurry and there is no reason to rush to a decision and one that I don’t need to justify to anyone. I don’t know much about Virgil Goode except he is conservative and will not win. Gary Johnson is a liberal and possibly a libertine as well and I’ve seen photos of him campaigning at the legalize marijauna rallies and not at Tea Party events or anywhere else so I have an idea of what’s important to him and he won’t win. I don’t think Romney can beat obama and I’m not really sure he would be much better if he did. Liberal vs. socialist appointees won’t make any difference in the courts and I don’t see any commitment from him to actually reduce the size of government or reduce spending. I’ll do what has to be done when the time comes to do it but I’m damn sure it’s going to be nothing I’ll be proud of.

Well, I’m convinced. The choice having been made crystal clear. I’m voting for Barack Obama. Forward!

Easy. Assuming you are a conservative it looks like you have two options:

1. Vote for Romney and hope to slow this train down the hill and try to pull us back from the cliff by working hard every election cycle to get true conservatives elected. Never quit. Never rest. Never give up.

2. Vote for Obama in the hopes that his re-election pushes us over the cliff in to armed rebellion hoping that after many many deaths this nation comes out better on the other side.

and don’t kid yourself... A vote for Ron Paul or any one else is a vote for Obama and option #2.

I am voting #1 but I am prepared for #2!

The primary purpose of the president is to oversee the operations of the executive branch of our government.

No, really!

Romney, the corporatist king, the TARP lover, needs to give us a reason to vote for him.

Justification based upon reality rather than wishful thinking.

The President for the next four years is either going to be Romney or 0bama.

You can cry about it, stamp your feet, hold your breath and take your toys and go home if you wish - but that is the reality.

It is either Romney or 0bama.

How does one justify a vote for Romney?

Because it just doesn’t matter anymore?

Voting for Romney would be the diplomatic thing to do, diplomacy being the art of say “Nice doggie!” while you look for a rock.

Will I vote for Romney?

Will I condemn those who decide that their best option is to vote for him?

Will I cheer for news that indicates Obama is beating him?

My answer is a resounding NO to all of the above.

I know this really isn’t what you’re wanting, an honest answer from someone who plans to vote for the only ELECTABLE choice against Obama, but I want to answer anyway:

1. I remember Reagan not abandoning the Republicans when it was knee deep in RINOs: Ford, Nixon, Rockefellers, etc. He worked within to change it and supported the party even when it wasn’t as conservative as it should be.

2. I also remember Carter. Obama is worse than Carter.

3. I am convinced by some on our side (Coulter, Cain, Cheney) who believe Romney will do a better job than many of us think—and who are certain he will be better than Obama.

There used to be a lot of “darkest before the dawn” type thinking, to whit: When the left finally exposes itself, people will be so appalled they’ll come around to the conservative viewpoint.

Well, folks, it ain’t darkest yet - it will be when Obama gets re-elected. Then you’ll see the statists come out full force with their freak flag flyin’.

And STILL people won’t see the light.

So, long story short, I’ll probably end up voting for Romney because he ain’t Obama.

Our only hope is to try and put as much pressure as we can on Romney to push the conservative agenda.

And putting conservatives into Congress and local spots is our best shot at that.

I will vote for the Republican Nominee.

Period.

My goal is the removal of Obama.

No, Romney fdoes not equal Obama. or Obama “Lite”.

I wish the Republican Nominee was Santorum. That’s how I voted in the Primary.

I didn’t get my way...but that doesn’t mean I can’t work to defeat Obama.

I want Obama defeated now. That’s all that matters to me. It is all I have left.
