How does one justify a vote for Romney?

With the foisted increased possibility of Mittens buying becoming the Nominee, can you actually justify voting for him in the general election?

This is what I am truly curious to find out.

Virgil Goode info" http://www.goodeforpresident2012.com/

Gary Johnson info: http://www.garyjohnson2012.com/about

Personally, at this moment, I simply cannot vote for Romney under any circumstance. I am also convinced that if Romney runs against Obama, Romney will lose massively.

I'd really be interested in your feedback, especially in terms of how you potentially plan to justify voting for Romney if he indeed becomes the Nominee.

Thank you,

NRT

That’s a great picture.Mind if I steal for use here on those “I’ll cut out my own liver before I’ll vote for Romney” threads?

Well, I’m convinced. The choice having been made crystal clear. I’m voting for Barack Obama. Forward!

I agree with your post. And voting for Romney, just lets the GOP keep thinking we are “all in” with what they are pushing. Writing in someone else, skipping the box for President, or otherwise NOT voting for Mitt, are at least options that provide feedback to the GOP that we are NOT in for Mitt.

I didn’t vote that election. I thought Perot dropped out of the race before the election.

Easy. Assuming you are a conservative it looks like you have two options:

1. Vote for Romney and hope to slow this train down the hill and try to pull us back from the cliff by working hard every election cycle to get true conservatives elected. Never quit. Never rest. Never give up.

2. Vote for Obama in the hopes that his re-election pushes us over the cliff in to armed rebellion hoping that after many many deaths this nation comes out better on the other side.

and don’t kid yourself... A vote for Ron Paul or any one else is a vote for Obama and option #2.

I am voting #1 but I am prepared for #2!

Simple, then, Nana... just vote for Obama! By your screen name, I assume that you have children and grandchildren. Do you want this country to be around for them? Its that simple, really. Obama will destroy this country. That is his mission. I don’t like Romney. My first choice was Perry, then it was Newt. The only choice now is to either vote for Romney (even if its really a vote against Obama) or vote for Obama. Staying home and not voting is a vote for Obama. Voting for some fringe candidate is voting for Obama.

Or maybe you are one of those FR nutjobs who thinks that Obama getting in will lead to a new revolution or a restoration of the republic.

Its your choice. It comes down to this: Romney or Obama. I’d rather have Romney than Obama... and in 2016, we can hold his feet to the fire. Or we can have Obama and 2016 won’t even matter.

The primary purpose of the president is to oversee the operations of the executive branch of our government.

No, really!

No it would not because that is not true.

Are you ignorant of the basic #1 tenet of the mormon religion or just wanting to call names?

I know Mormons and they don't go around attacking other religions like you so called southern white trash Christians do.

You are correct. They are far mor subtle than that and I wasn't attacking anything, just stating a fact.

It really gives the south a bad name that you people exist.

Who the heck is "you people"?

Virgil Goode or Gary Johnson? Are you serious? They will get fewer votes than Perot...

When thinking in terms of votes that *count* you're actually wrong.Perot got precisely zero Electoral Votes. You can't get any fewer than zero.

Romney, the corporatist king, the TARP lover, needs to give us a reason to vote for him.

Do you want to have a chance to save one of the major parties, before they both become completely socialist in nature? Because a Romney win would forever cement the GOP as a socialist party...and then indeed the only way out is a Third Party, whereas if the GOP gets their wake-up call now, by conservatives making a stand, they may still have a chance to be saved.

Justification based upon reality rather than wishful thinking.

The President for the next four years is either going to be Romney or 0bama.

You can cry about it, stamp your feet, hold your breath and take your toys and go home if you wish - but that is the reality.

It is either Romney or 0bama.

Since I am against name calling, I will not call you an asshat...

You're not going to call me a what?

...for suggesting that you know anything about what an individual that you never met believes about someone elses religion that you also do not know.

Are you also ignorant of the #1 basic tenet of mormonism? Romney is pretty high up on the food chain of that group. Are you suggesting that he does not believe that?

Now I'm really pissed that you put me in a position that requires me, as a Christian, to defend Romney. But I still won't call you any names.

That was clear from the start of your little rant...LOL!

“smart people” ???

Is that code for “fearful and lacking in faith in God” ???

Is that a term for “we dont know what to do so we’ll do anything the cool kids are doing” ??

Is there a bit of “we didnt see this coming and we werent prepared” ???

SMART PEOPLE

OK
