Utterly shameless! Even though FDR was in failing health during his 1944 re-election campaign, he did not even figuratively “spike the football” concerning the D-Day victory, especially with troops still on the battlefield. How low and small for Team Obama!
Why doesn’t obama compare himself to truman, who had to decide whether to drop the bomb TWICE. Can you imagine knowing you made the call that specifically ended hundreds of thousands lives?
Or kennedy in the cuban missile crisis?
Or bush 1, who had to make the call to risk, and expected to loose 100k lives in a war against iraq. Her had to orders troops in, who would act as speed bumps if iraq moved on our allies. A-10s were sent in to be expended slowing down sadam.
Or bush 2, who was in the position to have to orders a civilian aircraft be shot down, and some suggest that is what happened to 93.
