Hot on the heels of President Subprime McDowngrades visit to Ohio during which he attempted to take credit for Gov. John Kasichs stunningly successful fiscal record comes the obvious question from a reporter. Obvious, that is, if youre a liberal Statist hack.
The governors reaction is priceless.

You can’t have him yet Ohio still needs hi to straightened out the mess left by the libs.

Ohio has no recall provision in it’s constitution.
Brilliant! Way to go, Gov! Laugh in their faces ... it’s exactly what they deserve.
Thank God, I am still optimistic about Wisconsin because the dirt bag students (many out of state students) will be home smoking bongs or out partying at some slum hotel in Mexico.
The question itself reveals all we need to know about the way the left and it’s enabling media think. There is no recognition of the fact that “spending” originally comes from the private sector, and the cost comes in the form of reduced economic activity.
These people think government spending has no corresponding “cost”. It’s free. It doesn’t have to come from anywhere. It can be extracted from the hands of investors and savers and spenders with no consequence at all to the overall health of the economy.
Sheesh. Liberals are just plain dumb.
I remember reading some months ago that losing the vote vs. his bill to restrict state employees’ bargaining hurt Kasich’s popularity. But, I thought that had abated.
You KNOW whoever is in this race, the unions and others on the left will be going for the jugular. In that sense, it doesn’t matter who runs on the GOP side for any office.
Oh, I understand completely. When there was talk of Jindal as VP, I had the same sense .. let him clean up LA first. McDonnell should stay in VA, Scott in FK, Walker in WI.
I suppose if we have a few good R govs who are cleaning up their states, and we have a R POTUS whose fed govt will work with and emulate the successful states, it would accomplish the same thing. Kasich just happens to have that Budget Comm experience which would be invaluable.
Little Timmy Ryan is mulling a run against Kasich but only if Strickland doesn’t decide to. Ryan won’t blow his nose unless Pelosi tells him it’s ok but HEY, the people here in Youngstown sure seem to love him (gag).
Progressive Mittens is not going to pick a conservative. He’s going to pick a mini-me. The GOPe does not want the conservative vote. I can take a hint.
A longer excerpt would be really helpful if you want to tell folks what this thread is about.
As it is, I’m moving on....
Anybody from Ohio know what support the National GOP gave to issue 2? Any chance it will come back?
