Be careful about depending on only Republican sources for info.

Well, if my mis-reading of a Wikipedia chart is deemed a "Republican Source", I plead "guilty as charged"...lol

I always try and flip the argument and come at it from all angles like you do. I just get sick and tired of the lefties not having the same discipline...lol

I actually get my news from a lot of different sources and have been accused of listening to NPR occasionally. I would submit that your general Republican is probably more informed from different sources than your general Rat.

Back to the gist of the conversation. It is very frustrating for me to watch the Pubbies always wanting to "be loved" and "go along to get along" whereas the Rats are ruthless in their quest for power. The Pubbies have only gotten themselves in trouble with the "get along" attitude.

I say stick by your principles hell or high water all the way to a stalemate/shutdown and if the people vote you out for it, so be it. The sheeple will eventually get what they deserve and you can see that in a microcosm kind of way in certain areas that have been controlled by the Rats for decades. The county I grew up in is one such place and it is sad. I understand those that say they don't want the whole country to go that route.

HA-HA, that is where I went to check on your claims but I was hesitant to tell you because I have had a few Bush-Bots claim that Wika is lying even when they (the bots) have been obviously wrong about stuff.

I was a enthusiastic GWB defender his first term but by late 2006 I realized I had been duped, I swore not to let his few remaining supporters re-write history.

In 2009 I thought Republicans should replace Boehner and McConnell and repudiate the GWB era.
