I cannot let this pass without commenting. I had a tubal pregnancy years ago and the only option was to terminate the pregnancy.
I did not kill my offspring nor did I commit homicide. That baby was not going to survive either way. Pro-delivery at 6 weeks gestation is never an option.
Hi PBR. I would argue with you the points of delivery and homicide.
Delivery is an effort to preserve.
Homicide is the killing of a human. (There is, for example, justifiable homicide. That means that death was caused but that it was for good reasons. Your tubal would probably fall under that category.)
However, the delivery of that child is simply a matter of progress in that direction. What we think is impossible is limited by what we’re capable of doing at this time. If we never try, then the boundaries of capability won’t be pushed.
So, yes, an EFFORT could have been made. If a death occurred nonetheless, then it would have “expired during delivery.”
EVERY abortion, on the other hand, is always designed to cause the baby to die.
Many women would have an entirely more positive sense of what had happened if they were able to tell themselves that they had done everything to deliver a child rather than have it cut into pieces.
