The headline is just silly.

There is no enthusiasm for Romney, I see a lot of people who “support Romney” not bothering to get out of bed that day. They support their hockey team too, but they never buy the tickets.

Rush and Marta’s marriage didn’t work out, but that was a very long time ago. He is now married to Catherine, and is looking great.

Snerdley, who is James Golden, left to pursue his own talk show. He was gone for quite a few years, but is back now.

The oxy issue was an old back injury, and the very fact that you bring it up tells me that you have no heart whatsoever, and are very judgmental and overly critical...and very unforgiving even though he is clean now.

In fact, everything in your post tells me that you haven’t listened to Rush in many, many years or you would have asked questions that are much more current than the already asked and answered questions you posed.

I didn’t need any search engine to tell me anything.

One more thing...as to advertisers leaving in droves...that won’t happen. During the war on women, that didn’t happen. In fact, Carbonite, the highest profile and most public company to pull their adverts, is, once again, advertising on his show. lol

BTW ... I wasn't being too hard on Rush via the oxycotin (sp) thing ... I knew that he had never used it as a "recreational drug", just for medical purposes ...

Fortunately, he's behind all that now ...

Not sure that James Golden did a talk show during his absence ... all Rush had said was that it was "internet related" ...

I've been listening to Rush Limbaugh since about 1994, although the first time I heard of his radio show was about 1990 ...



We'll have to see what happens to Rush and the "Golden EIB Microphone" over the next year ...

Success in media (especially for someone like Rush or Mark Levin) rests FIRST on "respect" ... not always "talent on loan from God" ...

I find it peculiar how Rush lauds Hillsdale College, and the Hertiage Foundation ... and occassionally references the Federalist Papers (etc) ...

but when it comes to "pledging his life, fortune, and sacred honor" ...

as Newt Gingrinch and the Founding Fathers did ...

Rush is more often prefers hosting a celebrity golf tournament somewhere ... on another on his four-day vacations ...



True, Rush did contribute $ 400,000 to his recent charity gig (lukemia) ...

but when you're worth some $ 100 million (or more) ...

I find it interesting how so many of the, oh so reluctant, Romney advocates slip into the standard Democrat-Alinsky tactics of demonizing and belittling those who don't see it their way.

Several times in the past, I have challenged Romney supporters to name one (just one) Act, Bill, program or other legislation that was conservative and supported or signed into law by Romney. So far,o one here has been able to give even one example. After four years of a Romney presidency, the federal government will be bigger, more controlling, and further left than it is today. Go ahead, keep on belittling true conservatives while capitulating to the very people who want to rule you.

You may be overlooking one thing: Rush is, more than anything else, an entertainer. That’s his job, first and foremost.

We all have foibles. Rush is no exception.

But I do enjoy listening to him.
