You are right about that. That is why parental involvement needs to be mandatory. I guarantee you that if one of our Scouts came onto another scout and there was proof, he would be out of the troop.... of course, we are a home school troop and we tend to have a lot more responsible kids and parents.
Something that just occurred to me is that there are so many illegitimate children or children whose parents are divorced now, that so many boys have no father in the home. Such boys are especially vulnerable to homosexual predators because they are looking for a father type figure, and homosexual predators seek out such boys.
All the more reason to keep the Scouts “morally straight”!
