Back when Bush was POTUS I used to complain regularly about TSA wasting money (big money) by treating us all like terrorists and almost everyone I talked to said they were happy it was keeping them 'safe'. It takes an Obama for Republicans to see the light.

The Patriot Act, and TSA, the need to protect us from us, was one of Bush’s biggest failures.
I think on Day 1 when Obama was first learning about his Executive powers he thought to himself, “Damn! I knew that president had far reaching powers, I didn’t know that Bush made it this easy for me.”
And then he set to working on Obamacare the very next morning. :)

I was Bush supporter once and I never supported it, but that doesn’t surprise me.
If I ever fly again I’m gonna make sure my shoes smell really bad so the pig gets a wiff when I’m ordered to take them off so he can look inside for nukes.
