my guess is that it has to do more with polls.

The polls say that more americans have decided to become wishy washy on the definition of marriage.

They’ve decided to say “live and let live”.

That sounds nice - except that isn’t the goal for the LGBT folks.

They don’t want to stop there. They want their “new” definition to be universal. They want to force the adoption agencies to accept the new definition. They want the schools to bring it into the curriculum. They want churches to be forced to ignore scripture and accept the new definition.

Most americans have buried their heads in the sand concerning this.
And just like O stabbed catholic bishops in the back, so will the LGBTs when the start with their anti-church anti-bible “hate speech” garbage that they’ve already pulled in Canada.

I’ve had it....I’m not going to personally participate in this crap.

I’m done with the republicans...I’m an official independent now.

That's because they feel helpless to stop it. Judges and politicians are forcing it on them against their will. They feel they have no choice but surrender.
This is what happens when the people no longer have control over their government.

The corollary is that you can guarantee that a acerbic Beltway gay drawn to political power (a) belongs to the cadre you describe and (b) thusly has no place at the top of the GOP candidate's policymaking.
