Be nice to be able to go a few days early and do other stuff, too. There’s a lot to see in that area. I’d love to see the USS Lexington
docked there.

I saw the Lex plenty in Pensacola.
They used it to train Carrier pilots to land.
It was tied up in port and the pumps were always running to keep her from sinking LOL

The Seafair sounds fun.

A good tour of the Lex takes about three or hours; hanging out at the Seafair would take up about two hours.

I toured her a few years ago.. Not sure I could mange all the "ladders" now, but I'm getting there. I'm just about across Corpus Christi Bay from her right now.
