Hatch got 57% in the first vote and 59.2% in the 2nd. Thus the forced primary as it takes 60% to avoid the primary. Dan Liljenquist a former state senator will be his opponent.

The decision will be made with the influence on voters from headquarters in SLC. Has Orrin maxed out on his usefulness?
