The unintended consequence is that this is reflecting very, very badly on Obama. Right now it looks like he is going to lose by at least 60/40. This day in and day out public lynching will remind the public that Obama is a a Marxist/socialist thug and well over 60% of the electorate will have nothing to do with him. He has lost the Jews, the Hispanics ( is it any wonder why), the catholics, the gun owners and on and on.
This cannot be called a blessing in disguise, but this story is overreach on such a massive scale that it will bury Obama and his nazi-like sympathizers.
Our saving grace is the internet and no one is fooled.
Lest we forget, Romney (assault Weapon Ban in Mass) is no safe harbor for gun owners, either. If he gets elected, we need to really keep after Congress so they don't knuckle under to the Communists.
