I have not seen or followed all of the media coverage of this story, but the few times that I have watched the Martin family attorney he has been much more restrained than the reporters? He appears to be pretty careful about what he says despite the loaded questions from reporters.
I was suspicious of this case as soon as Al Sharpton got involved. Having Sharpton on your side signals certain doom. It’s the same as having Joe Biden visit your factory to announce a government loan to your employer!
He does not have a reporter's special First Amendment protections for what he says outside the courtroom on camera. He knows what he can get sued for.
