What a disturbing picture. The cats are only doing what GOD intended for them to do. Those two hix in the pictures are right out of Deliverance movie.

To those who think mountain lions are solitary hunters: They are until their numbers are sufficient that they start to form prides to attack more difficult prey. I have seen photos of as many as eight together on a hunt.

That will make a nice hide. I’ve dealt with a few mountain lions, but nothing that big.

That is indeed a large mountain lion. It has obviously been on some very good feed to attain that size...

Animal worshipers are disgusting enemies of our Constitution and nation.
We need the rest of the default process and resulting smaller government. NIMBYs, go home!

I do a fair amount of solo hiking in the northwest country, Idaho, Montana, BC. Been stalked, twice (that I know of). All I can tell you is that it forever changes your view of what it is to be a human being. You want to get an intuitive feel for nature, get hunted some time.
I would love to see a cat that size in the wild. I'd love it because it's so much better than the one that size that you don't see.

I wish I had saved the Houston Chronicle that came a few days ago. There was an article about several species of antelope that are extinct or severely endangered in their native areas of the world but they are thriving on “game ranches” in Texas. They have been brought to Texas and turned out on huge ranches where they have increased in numbers.......... in spite of the fact that they are hunted.
The Wikipedia article link posted here, is not correct. The hunted animals are not kept in small pens where hunters shoot them. They are in wild surroundings like they would be in their native lands. the difference is they will not be hunted to extinction as they have been in places like Pakistan.

The Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks is trying to figure out why the deer numbers are down and the mountain lion and wolf numbers are up.
The liberal plan is to increase the number of large predators to the point that game animal numbers drop so low that they can justify outlawing hunting. Not because they care about the deer, because they don’t. They want to get rid of all those private firearms.

Luckily these predators were not sentient. Look at
