According to other court documents filed Feb. 22 by Joseph Neal, related to a custody battle over his son, Neal denies the allegations stating that there was “no sexual assault on anyone at anytime.”

The document states that Joseph and Caroline Neal together engaged in a “consensual sexual encounter” with “another adult woman” in their bedroom on the evening of Dec. 16.

Joseph Neal also denies the use of any illegal drugs or the abuse of alcohol in the same document and claims to have submitted to a hair follicle test and 10 urine drug screenings before Feb. 2.

According to the Richmond County Superior Court documents, Joseph and Caroline Neal divorced recently. They had filed twice before, in August and October 2011, which were both voluntarily dismissed. A settlement was reached in the third case filed in January and finalized Feb. 16.

Very weird.

Well, it’s nice to see a divorced couple who decided they could still “be friends”...

Sounds to me like a custody battle lie that boomeranged on the liar and is leading to her arrest. I suspect there was no crime here and no one will be convicted. Perhaps this saga with deter some women in that area from lying in custody battle for a while.
