Which gets me to this- people will say Palin is "stupid". I'll ask "why"? They'll reply that it's because she says stupid stuff. I'll ask, "Like what?" They'll inevitably say, "Because she said she could see Russia from her house". I have to remind them that Palin NEVER said that- it was Tina Fey. I think the Left knows that everytime Governor Palin opens her mouth, she gains supporters so they purposely go after things on the periphery, like mocking her Down's Syndrome child, or her daughter, or anything other than policy differences, because they know that when she speaks, she'll eviscerate them.

To me, it seems that the reason she is considered stupid is her voice.
It’s not solely because she’s conservative because there are other slanders for conservatives besides the “stupid” label. If the stupid label didn’t stick, liberals would move onto the other labels, such as evil or extremist or zealot.
I would add that as well, it appeared the McCain staff muzzled Palin and neutered her potential unapologetically no holds barred conservative message instead seeking a more politically correct message that gave 0b0zo the opportunity to sell a dream rather than defend himself from himself and his nefarious credentials.
