As a kid I had some relatives that were Dems, in fact one was the mayor of a So CA city. None of them would have gone along with what is now going on in the RAT party.

"None of them would have gone along with what is now going on in the RAT party." If that's true they are unique amongst life long dems. I know several who like to say they don't agree with the Marxist racism of Obama, but I know they are still voting for him and their favorite local dems who in turn support the Marxist agenda.
