Tea party leader warns Romney: Don't expect us to campaign for you
The Daily Caller ^ | 04/13/2012 | Alex Pappas

Posted on 04/13/2012 12:34:31 AM PDT by CaptainKrunch

The leader of the Tea Party Nation organization has a blunt message for likely Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney: Tea partiers will likely vote for you, but don’t expect them to get energized and campaign for you.

“The tea party is not going to coalesce around Romney,” Judson Phillips told The Daily Caller on Thursday. “Most of us will vote for Romney, but we will not be out there with signs for him or in his campaign.”

Whoop, there it is..

Extremely pissed off at the GOPE for pushing O'Romney on us at this point.  Seriously thinking of not voting at all for two reasons (both born of rage) 1.  Punish the GOPE for pushing another liberal candidate on us, and at an extremely critical time in our nations history, and 2.  Punish those stupid white people for voting Obama in to begin with (more than likely sad-sack sympathy votes strickly based on the color of his skin and completely devoid of any regard to the content of his character).  These people need to feel the impact of their idiocy by witnessing the destruction of their country and the dismantling of their freedom.  Hopefully we can pull the nation back from the precipice after O'dumba's 2nd term and the nitwits will have learned a lesson that will last a generation or two.

Maybe my rage will have dissapated come Nov. 2.  Or maybe not.  I don't see the point in voting for someone who is the actual architect of the ill-advisable commiecare act that we all hate.

A Primary election is still a "Primary" and should be treated as such.
As long as there is another choice, other than "TROJAN HORSE" Romney, I'll support the other choice.
That choice now is Newt.
If we nominate Romney, Romney will lose.

On another thread, WhiskeyX's analysis is very good on
If we nominate Romney, Romney will lose, intentionally!

Read this article.

The only way Conservatives will lose to the Kenyan Turd is IF the "Establishment Republicans" REFUSE to support the Republican Nominee.
Now the "Republican Establishment's" hatred for conservatives is well known.
Jon Bershad wrote about Rush's analysis of their PANIC.

How many times has the "Republican Establishment" treated us to one lecture after the other on the need for “compromise” and “patience.”?
After we elect and RE-elect the "Republican Establishment", they conduct themselves with none of the confidence and enthusiasm with which they expressed themselves on the campaign trail.
It may be worth it for the GOP to lose some elections - if it means that conservatives—and the country—will ultimately win.

If we didn’t know it before, WE ... the Tea Partiers, now knows that accepting short-term loss in exchange for long-term gain is the essence of compromise, the essence of politics.

Ironically, we can thank the "Republican Establishment" for impressing this so indelibly upon us!!!
I'm fresh out of "patience", and I'm not in the mood for "compromise".
"COMPROMISE" to me is a dirty word.
Let the RINO's compromise their values, with the conservatives, for a change.

My dislike for the Democratic Party is second to none.
But my ... LOATHING ... for the "Establishment Republicans" ... is even stronger!
The "Establishment Republicans" can go to hell!

I feel your rage.

It's an easy stand to take, as Romney is antithetical to just about every political position that we believe in.  But the consequences for this stand shall be severe.

Romney is the worse that we have had forced upon us because he has been for all of the issues and set many polices in which fiscal and social conservatives, independents and common sense thinkers find in respect against their ideology. Once you give up and leave your convictions, what else do you have. Once he gets this from us, he won't need anything from us again. What would be our leverage. The more he insults the conservatives, he will gain more liberal democrats to his side where he feels comfortable with. He is lying now to the gun owners. I hope the NRA does not endorse him. Someone has to stand up with their principles. Most of the voices on our side (patriots) seem to have folded or caved in to the Karl Rove scenario-it’s Mitt. The public said no in every poll to the bail outs. No one-listened to us. GW Bush left his free market ideas aside to put government in control of a company. This is what we want, again. The same people in control. Now, they ask us to be good little boys and girls, and back this man. Obama will crush this man in the fall.

DITTO to that JR!

Another HUGE problem is going to be IF Romney actually wins. If anyone votes for him how do they lobby against his policies from the day he's sworn in?

There can be NO honeymoon! NONE!

As it stands now I am only voting down ticket in the general. Since I am not registered republican I can not vote in the primary.

Sure, that democrat strategy works, also. Not new. Although I’ve never voted for a democrat in a real election, I did vote for Jessie Jackson in the 1984 and 1988 primaries, under the same principle.

I hope Gary Johnson gets the Libertarian nomination and I hope he’s stoned at all his public appearances. It would even be better if he would start showing up with one of those Bob Marley hats on. I want the GOPE to know that if I have to choose between Mitt and a guy so high he doesn’t even know where he’s at, I’ll choose the stoner.

Jim, while I very well understand your dislike for the big RINO, we need to concentrate on saving the country from Marxism/Obamunism.
I do not need to bother with an absentee vote, as I am from Tennessee, and I know that my state will not vote Obumbo, any more then they did for home-boy Gore.
Since you are in California, I guess it is a moot point, but in other states it will be very close and in those states FReepers need to vote, even if for the lesser of two evils.

As I have viewed from ten years abroad, America is sinking very fast, and another four years of the Communist will do her in.

I know Gary, and he does not smoke dope and is not a Rastafarian. He just thinks that people have a right to choose their own poison. He was a sober, smart, libertarian-conservative governor who established the standard in my former state for fiscal responsibility. He set a record as a governor who vetoed more spending bills than all the other govs. of NM put together. If he has a fault, it’s that he is a lousy golfer, but he is a world class athlete. I am not voting for him; he hasn’t a chance in hell, but he is one hell of a fine man

I totally agree with you. If Obama gets another four years , unrestrained, there will be no coming back..At least we know Romney is a citizen of this country. The powers that be will not allow us to vet this President. He, from all indications, does not understand our Constitution and even seems to hate the individual freedom it gives. Looking at the big picture, I just cannot agree with those who believe there is no choice between Obama and Romney..Do not let emotion guide your decision in this election..I would prefer Newt but he will not be the nominee.

Agreed...

The kicker for me is the difference not for the next four years, but for the next 40. And that is related to who/what is put in perhaps 3 SCOTUS appointments during the term. The SCOTUS now at 4-4-1 just CANNOT be tipped to the left one inch. Of course, I feel I’m between proverbial Rock/Hard-place, as Rotney shows capability of appointing kagen-like justices here in MA; but a Senate in ‘R’ control can keep this in check, whereas even an ‘R’ Senate can not/will not for zer0.

Backstabber Romney and Team attack CHILDREN.

YOU LIKE THAT?

FLASHBACK:

The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts
in some polls, days prior to Election 2008.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney and
TeamROMNEY and the RNME (Republican National Media Establishment)
decided …to attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008.

Romney, and the Van der Sloot RNME RINOs for Obama in 2008

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
… aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off ….hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

Voting for Romney over Obama is the easy way out, but both paths lead to serfdom. Romney didn't win the primaries fair-and-square as the political pundits would have you believe. In many states, the GOP launched a lot of RNC contribution money (10:1) against conservative candidates disguised as Super PACs. This was never a fair fight! A lot of contributors to the RNC should be very upset with how their money was spent.

When would the GOP machine ever stop pushing their candidate against conservatives? Now is the time to stand your ground, hold firm. The future is not pretty, but we can rebuild after Obama destroys the Federal form of government and power returns to the states by collapse or secession.

Romney won nothing fair and square ~ here in Virginia he got the delegates because his paid lackeys in the state government (the Governor and the Lt. Governor) sold out the people and changed all the rules at the last minute so that Romney didn't even need to have the signatures on his phony nominating petitions verified.

With only him and a nut job on the ballot Virginia voters stayed away by the hundreds of thousands.

In fact, we usually have well over 1.5 million primary voters (in a totally open system) and this time we got a small fraction of that.

Romney simply does not attract the party base! If you can't do that you lose!
