Elect Romney, on the other hand, and our side won't show near the opposition to his near-identical performance in office. He's 85 mph to Obama's 100. We still wind up in the same place, but with an avowed and transparent despot in office, there will be more OPPOSITION to his transgressions and over-reach. Not so with the milk man, Romney, who will lull a Republican Congress to sleep because he's 'their guy'. They will allow him ten times the latitude that they'd allow Obama, simply because he's sporting the right jersey.

If that's true how are these people anymore worthy of our vote then Romney? You're saying they all have no backbone and can be led around like sheep. Jeesh. We've gone from don't vote for Romney because he's the same as Obama to all Republican members of congress are RINOS that would be hypnotized by Romney into voting for his liberal agenda. Thank you my friend, but it does seem sometimes that we're waging a never-ending battle against illogic and ignorance in our camp. Jim Rob said just about everything that needed to be said about Romney in his excellent lead post, but this thread has gone over a thousand posts anyway.

If people thought Obama conned us, they're wrong. He was transparent about his political philosophy from the very start. Romney is the real con, because he pretends to stand for things that his record shows he is diametrically opposed to. The man in an abject LIAR.

I just do not understand why some people don't plainly see that.
