The SCOTUS is going to be a massive issue for November after the Obamacare ruling comes out. Bank on it.

We need to have someone who will only put up bona fide conservatives to the court.

Which political party should we all register under?

I think if a couple of million registered Republicans droopped their Republican registration and bolstered the numbers of a third party, it might begin to get their attention.

I mean, if I am not going to vote for RINO lessers-of-evils anymore, then there is no need to register GOP so as to try to influence their primaries. It may seem there is that need but the fact is, we are being steamrolled by the establishment.

So what party should we all re-register under, Constitution Party?

I am not a libertarian and dont’ want to join their ranks. It is deceiving and not useful to me.

Bump!

Obama’s next 2 or 3 SCOTUS appointments will finish off this Republic for good. Ginsburg and Breyer are getting ready to be replaced, and one of the conservative justices could retire. Then we have 30 more years of liberal court with Sotomayor, Kagan and 3 more liberals.

"And I'm curious Jim, what happened to that thread you posted about a month and a half ago requesting everyone to suck it up in the event that Gingrich (who I support) or Santorum don't get the popular vote and to rally behind Romney (who we all detest) in order to get rid of Obama?"

I never posted such a thread. I've been totally opposed to the abortionist/socialist Romney ever since he started making noises about running for the presidency then immediately began lying about his liberal record.

There is a strange monotonous and noticeable vacancy about Romney. Somebody filled it with something. So, who filled it, and with what? Alinsky?

Something is in that vaccuous state, and we haven’t seen it...yet....because we have been able to see nothing.

No policy. No ideas. No resolutions. No connectiveness to America—just socialist legislation for his record and his calling card.

” I’m a business man and I’m here to help. “

And who IS Ann Romney. She has more to do with Romney’s endless runs for power and for the presidency than we will ever know. Her calculating confidence is eerie, but that’s just me.

Newt IS Galt. Romney needs Galting.

I am proud to have joined today because of these wonderful words from Jim Robinson. We got beat here by a republican system of “winner take all” which was still permitted in several key states disenfranchising all other voters. We got beat by millions of corporation dollars that back this wall street hack. We got beat by his smearing of Santorum and Gingrich and Ill be go to hell before I I vote for the SOB!!
Thank God for the Tea Party and conservatism. They didn’t learn with Dole . They didn’t learn with McCain. They didn’t learn with bush. I promise there wont be enough left of this party to throw a good picnic.

Obamacare was passed before the House flipped back to Republicans in 2010. No matter who becomes the next President, we definitely need more conservatives in Congress to try and control the agenda.

So you're in the "I'd rather have an F5 tornado than an F4 tornado hit my family" category?

Huh? Which one is Romney, the F4? I assume Obama is the F5. Doesn't really matter. JediJones is tired of tornadoes and getting out of Kansas. Makes sense to me; I'll join him.

Another "I'm not a mormon, BUT" defender sounds off...your posting history finds you defending mormonism on other threads.

I think it takes a LOT of gall to say to the owner of FR "You write that if we disagree with you we can find a new home on the Internet. That’s good for your ego. You can spout off as you wish, because its your forum. But I cannot find a new country. That’s the bigger issue; it is bigger than you. We have a defined choice: Obama or the Republican nominee."...You also have a defined choice...disagree with Jim all you like, but stick your superior condescension where the sun doen't shine....or leave FR.

Jeff. Reconsider. Romney is pro-abortion. Radically so. There is no good reason to believe otherwise.

After the 2008 election Romney, who would not say gay marriage/union for fear of others seeing his real self, again broke silence an supported gay unions.

His nature is to compromise principle based on polls and good reviews.

“We are beholden to NO ONE!! We bow to no kings!! We bow to NO RINOS!! “

Amen! Romney and his merry band of f-ups can hit the road. They act like I should appreciate their hand-out. It’s them that are looking for the hand-out - they can keep on looking!

Hunkering down and writing in. Beside you all the way, Mr. Robinson!

Some are venting, pitching hissy fits, in shock, or trying to think in writing and will eventually coming around to their good and better senses. This ugly primary is not yet over and the slimebag is not yet the nominee.

It’s said that God works in mysterious ways.

“WHAT? So we’re supposed to send money to Newt as the principled conservative to pay off his campaign and then he’s going to turn around and “enthusiastically” support Romney and go off and play golf? “

It doesn’t seem to complex of a concept to understand.

Newt is running for PRESIDENT.

Newt says he will support Romney if he loses but is NOT INTERESTED in a VP slot.

I am not interested in Newt or Rick as -VP- either!

Am I a friggin genius or what?

Would it not be a sin to allow the abortion loving Obama to serve another four years?

You do what you what, actually, it’s almost..........almost amusing reading the comments trying to explain WHY (with your absence of a vote for a viable candidate), you’ll re-elect the abortion loving Obama.

So Romney allowed cheap abortions, Obama promotes free abortions. Yes, by ALL means, make sure you do whatever is necessary to not vote for the republican candidate, I mean it will teach the GOP a lesson to have how many MORE abortions during Obama’s second term.

Yea, I get it.

Doesn’t it also go against ones principles to support someone who supports Romney?

Yup.

(Thanks for explaining further. It's easy to miss the point sometimes in the quick replies we fire back and forth.)
