MIAMI (CBSMiami) – George Zimmerman has been charged with second-degree murder for the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, according to the Associated Press.
Additionally, Zimmerman has been taken into custody, but it hasn’t been revealed where he is being held.
CBSMiami has confirmed that State Attorney Angela Corey, who was appointed as a special prosecutor in the case, will hold an announcement about the charges at 6 p.m. in Jacksonville.

I don’t thinking has anything to do with it. The charge falls under the basic section.
The unlawful killing of a human being, when perpetrated by any act imminently dangerous to another and evincing a depraved mind regardless of human life, although without any premeditated design to effect the death of any particular individual, is murder in the second degree

I was appalled when the prosecutor said they wanted “justice for Trayvon” before later backtracking and saying for Trayvon and Zimmerman. Later, I heard on Levin that she said she’d made up her mind last week. That leads me to believe she chose to bypass a Grand Jury which would be required for Murder One, and which might not give her the indictment. Instead, she decided to exercise her own judgment in filing charges at the highest level her authority allowed.
I also notice women just piling on the makeup to the point that it makes me cringe...both this blousy, homely prosecutor and Trayvon’s “sweet” mother.
Zimmerman’s primary risk now is running out of money before he can get to trial. Here’s hoping someone really good volunteers to take the case probono, or a whole bunch of us build a solid defense fund for him.

From what I’ve seen and heard of the evidence, I believe his 911 call is what will prove his case.
Once he loses sight of travon, it implies that he is going back to his truck (not following/stalking him). Zim is attacked after that, which implies that travon was following/stalking Zim, then travon attacks Zim, Zim shoots him.

I just can’t get there based on what I know at this time.
I don’t see him stalking nor based on anything else I’ve read or heard that he “Zimmerman” was confrontational or the aggressor.
But what will happen if Zimmerman is found guilty? Isn't it funny that no one seems to worry what normal, decent people--the majority of people--will think or do? People--the media especially--always focus on what the leftist mobs will do.
I think the decent people of this country are getting fed up, to put in mildly, with the race baiters and cowards among us. We may not march in the streets, but we'll march to the polls. By the tens of millions.

Someone said she is tough and a republican. I find it incredibly hard to believe with such an unprofessional demeanor and obvious stated bias.
