If, repeat if, the special prosecutor is not in possession of evidence which is not now in the public domain but is reacting to public pressure, this is an egregious miscarriage of justice.

Oh I’m sure “new witnesses” came forward in the last few weeks to make Zimmerman guilty of something.

Yes, that is the obvious action. However, if non public forensic evidence counters Zimmerman’s statements and account, then he has a problem.

The other possibilities are that Corey is going to let dueling experts interpret evidence such as moisture and grass on Zimmerman's back, and give the jury a chance to pick which expert's interpretation they believe; let the jury determine whether Zimmerman acted as a 'reasonable man' in determining that deadly force was "necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself," as provided in Florida Statutes 776.012(1); and so forth.

I don't like it, but in essence, she's going to let the jury, with the help of experts, second-guess everything, including decisions made by trained law-enforcement personnel, and decisions Zimmerman made in split-seconds, in the luxury of an air-conditioned courtroom and jury room, with time to deliberate and apply their own prejudices, and without being in the all-encompassing, true-life situation that Zimmerman found himself in, for better or worse.

Welcome to America...where have you been? This is the way justice has always been done in America. We typically cow tow to the angry mobs UNLESS the person they want to lynch is a politician.

I’m wondering what she would cite as probable cause.
