She'll be at the convention. I don't know if she gets to speak although she should. I'd like to see her speak early on in prime time so the country gets to see who the real star of the Republican party is.
FWIW I’m getting a bad feeling that she may endorse Romney...sigh.
I expect if Romney gets the nod, she will endorse him. That's where I party company with Palin. I'll be voting an alternative party or a write-in.
Personally, I believe that a new party with Palin/West as the nominees could defeat both Romney and Obama in a general election.
I've been a Freeper for a long time and a lurker longer than that. I came here because of the conservative thought and discussion. I stayed because I got addicted. I respect what has been built here and the man who built it, but unlike others, I am not a lemming.
I voted for Newt in my state's primary and would happily vote for any of the other Republican candidates in the general election, with the exception of Mittens. He is a buffoon and does not possess a single conservative instinct. In my opinion, he is almost the same as Hillary politically.
The reality though, is there is going to be an election in November. Two candidates are going to be in contention to win and as long as Obama is one of them, I will vote for the other. Period. If Romney gets the Republican nomination I will vote for him, as long as Obama is the opponent. If by some chance Obama get's run off and Hillary became the Democrat nominee, I would likely reconsider and simply abstain.
For me anyway, the difference is this: Romney (and Hillary for that matter) are liberals and will push for liberal policies. The United States will likely survive either of them. I'm not so sure about Obama. If he get's elected, what exactly is going to keep him in check? He ignores the seperation of powers and the constitution and is actively trying to drive us into ruin. No matter how bad the policies of Mittens and the Hildebeast, they are infinately preferrable to an unfettered Obama.
I'll NEVER be a Romney supporter, but I may end up voting for him. Sometimes you have to give immunity to the drug dealer to convict the murderer. If it ends up being an elcetion between Romney and Obama, I for one will hold my nose and vote Romney. Then at least I will live to fight another day. If we all stand by and vote 3rd party or write-in, I'm not sure the country does live for another day. I choose life.

As I have been predicting, we could be seeing a civil war or a revolution, which could end very, very badly for those who push for it.
I should have said, “Barring a miracle,” - We already know who’s getting our POTUS votes!
I still believe a miracle is possible and I’m still praying, almost non-stop.

Where was Rush and Hannity and other conservative voices?
They could have combined out of the gate to say “Vote for Santorum” or “Vote for Bachmann” or Perry or whoever. Even if I didn’t like the choice, they could have combined to endorse the most conservative candidate they wanted to see, and stolen Romney’s momentum and thrown it to their candidate.
But no! These greedy asswipes stayed safely and cowardly on the sidelines until they could later support the winner after the smoke cleared.
A pox on all of them and their childrens, childrens, children. Greedy cowards. They were worse than worthless in both this election and the last with McCain. Rush bashed McCain but STILL REFUSED to endorse a conservative.
GOP establishment.
It will lose.
At some point, conservatives must wake up and realize that we are not a majority except in our own minds. We are only a plurality. And the only way we're going to get conservativism enacted into law is by guile, and by making issue by issue alliances, on which there is enough agreement that we can get temporary majorities. That is how the left got this country where it is today despite being an even smaller minority then the the right.
Victory tends to go to the smartest, not the most stubborn.

Wrong. Vote socialism or socialism lite. Same thing one just a bit slower than the other. If Romney or GOP-e is elected many, like you I imagine, will go back to along to get along.
You’ll think you will have accomplished something when in reality you’ll be sleeping while the rest of us kiss America goodbye.
If BHO is elected it will unleash hell from the conservative majority.
Politics mostly means voting for the least worst candidate, not a candidate who's really good.
For me, Obama is the worst worst candidate. Stopping his reelection is job 1.

When the checks are removed from the socialists in government there will be no coming back. 2016, 2020, won’t matter, Your awesome new “Conservative 3rd Party” or your tea party takeover of the GOP won’t matter. Even a dream wave of conservatism and revival of limited government, 70% tea party America could not overcome a 6-3 Kagan Court.
