My thought on this is not that they won’t ever take it up, it’s that they know they only have one chance if they do.

Yes, but the truth has a way of sticking around. The voters know little about this man, and are curious to know.

One thing that bothers me about Romney is the apparent lack of statesmanship in the man, besides being wishy washy. Our country is on a road to nowhere right now.
