Thank you for taking the time to provide a correction to the information I posted. I received that Obama birth certificate information in an e-mail from an old friend whom I had the utmost trust and confidence. If I had received that e-mail from almost any old friend but him, I would have checked it out before forwarding it.

I will not malign anyone's motives for spreading incorrect information. There is much nonsense that keeps getting repeated, much of it innocently by people who haven't had the time to think it through or research it properly. We are all victims of those people who jump to conclusions and then spread their erroneous assumptions all over the internet. I don't know how many times i've had to correct people about John McCain's birth certificate, but that is ANOTHER ongoing rumor that keeps getting spread. (That he was born in Colon Panama. He was NOT born in Colon Panama, He was born in the Coco Solo Naval base. )

We owe it to ourselves and to the movement to assure ourselves of the accuracy of our statements. The Liberals would like nothing better than to mock us for spreading "kooky theories."

I have good friends as well that send me stuff. Often upon checking I find they were a little too eager to believe something without merit.

Again, you are absolutely welcome. If you should find me making a mistake, by all means, please correct me. I have spent a great deal of time researching various aspects of this issue, and if there are any aspects of it that you might have questions about, if I cannot answer your questions, I can direct you to several other people on this forum whom I consider to be highly knowledgeable and even "expert" regarding this subject. A few names include Spaulding, rxsid, edge919, flotsam_jetsome, Beckwith, Butterdezillion, Fred Nerks, Danae; and several others as well. (I appologize for any names i've left out.)
