People of the journalism trade do not merely “meet together for merriment and diversion,” they are joined at the hip by the Associated Press newswire. The AP is the reason journalism went from a bunch of fractiously independent political entities to a bunch of fronts for a single (extreme leftist) political perspective.
That is what journalism is, and it must be sued as such - the defendants must be the Associated Press, and its membership, collectively and individually. No game of circular finger-pointing, there is no hiding the fact that they are all one bunch, responsible for each other’s actions because they are in league with each other.
IMHO a good lawsuit against the miscreants should go after billions. Especially if you also target Jackson and Sharpton - not as deep pockets but as the muscle alleged in a lawsuit asking for triple damages under RICO.
