I thought that water froze a 0 degrees and boiled at 100, what’s up with that?

That would be the Celsius or Centigrade Scale. In the Fahrenheit scale water freezes at 32 degrees and boils at 212 degrees at sea level. I personally favour the Kelvin scale where almost every temp seems warm. All hail Lord Kelvin!
