There are days I have trouble calling *me* a Christian, based on my behavior. Fortunately, the essence of Christianity is God's forgiveness.

Politics has nothing to do with whether one is a Christian.

Agree or disagree, what is inevitable is a tangled mess that will forever remove "ozero is a muslim" as a bullet point.

It still matters to some, but Romney's health care is ozero's health care coupled with if Romney's a Christian so am I (despite any evidence for both of these guys that they ARE NOT Christian) ... and any debate turns into Coke or Pepsi and ozero is in for another 4.

"Politics has nothing to do with whether one is a Christian. "

I respectfully disagree. It's impossible to believe in murdering unborn babies and the Ten Commandments at the same time.

“Politics has nothing to do with whether one is a Christian. “

Of course, and calling oneself a Christian doesn’t make you one.

However a proven false teacher using Christianity to further his agenda is contemptible.

Said very well ArGee!

Make no mistake about it. You will see open season on Mormonism the closer the election nears. Be careful my conservative friends of joining the fray. An attack on Mormonism is a political move by Leftists to prevent solidarity of people voting their religious (regardless of denomination) morals.

Me too. I tell people, yes I'm a Christian . . .I didn't say I was a good Christian!

“Politics has nothing to do with whether one is a Christian.”

Hi Argee, not to argue but...

I keep sharing, yes it does, decisions are based on a person’s morals and virtue or lack of them. It’s error to say do not mix Politics and Religion. This falsehood especially today started so those who wish to act immoral won’t hear about it, the godly representatives in Washington.

The founders didn’t want to eliminate God, they wanted
to eliminate religious persecution.

May I share a great quote I read today ~

“God appears as the opposite of our freedom. We need to be free of him – so we think – and only then will we be free. This is the fundamental rebellion present throughout history and the fundamental lie which perverts life. When human beings set themselves against God, they set themselves against the truth of their own being and consequently do not become free, but alienated from themselves. We are free only if we stand in the truth of our being, if we are united to God. Then we become truly “like God” – not by resisting God, eliminating him, or denying him.”
