people are brain dead or just thicker then lead

the birth certificate gives you TWO of the THREE pieces needed to establish whether or not someone is a natural born citizen

the birth certificate provides:
1. place of birth
2. date of birth

this establishes age along with being born on the soil. the final piece needed is:

3. citizenship of BOTH parents at the time of birth

without #3... any anchor baby could qualify to be president with two mexican parents.

the term ‘natural born citizen’ was well established and recognized around the world at the time of the founders and to today.

if some drooling idiot doesn’t think #3 is required, point them towards the supreme court ruling of minor v happersett in 1874.

http://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/88/162/case.html

“The Constitution does not in words say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. “
