Here’s HOPING for a miracle at the convention. How can anyone throw Newt under the train? very discouraging. Obama should have been so EASY to beat but it looks like Romney will be the nominee.

Well it’s not over yet....more to get done...this in e-mail from Vince today:

Newt’s Big Choice convention phase will be focused on three goals:

- Working hard to do well in key states in the second half of the primary season.

- Winning a national dialogue about which candidate is most capable of defeating President Obama by offering bold conservative solutions to problems that Obama has failed to solve.

- Implementing a strategy focused on communicating directly with the delegates.

Newt is staying in the race because he believes this year’s nomination battle represents a Big Choice about the soul of the Republican Party, and whether it will remain the party of smaller government, and lower taxes, and conservative reform.

( Of course summed up it means taking on Obama and winning!)
