Newt has said for awhile that he would support any of the others, over the One. He also said which the AP cuts out, that he is not going to stop until Romney gets 1144 delegates. I think Newt should stay in the event one of the others have a major outing of an unknown. Newt has to stay in and talk about the issues. No other candidate is taking Obama on one to one. Romney says we cannot be too critical of Obama. Newt cannot say that he does not want Romney as the nominee if it came to that point-he has to keep it presidential as well as coming across as positive not resentful. The media is trying to keep Newt off his message and keep him on this.
The media ask him if he will support Romney on every show he comes on. He has been saying yes all along. He always qualifies it with the choice being between Obama and Romney. Why they act like this is news is beyond me.
