Keep Holy the Lord's Day.

Okay, you don't pray for people. You believe it is all up to an individual and you don't believe in praying for anyone who has passed on nor having ones loved ones pray on their behalf.

Now, I know Satan believes in Jesus...they spent quite a while together, but I do not believe Satan will have eternal life. Must be something slightly different, in the message of the scriptures, than simply what you quoted there...a little more to the story.

There is, like you mentioned earlier, only one unforgivable sin.

You say your views come from the Bible, but really that is not entirely so. Only some of your views do. Others have come and are coming from the Deceiver...of course that goes for all religions and all people, really. He's got his minions in them all.

We should pray for our loved ones and we should have them pray for us. We should pray for our religious leaders, God's chosen, and we should ask them to pray for us. We should pray for all of mankind, both alive and dead and pray for God to have mercy on us all. Many graces can be granted and many souls can be saved and much suffering can be aleviated - and yes, it is ALL in the Bible, since you feel it must only originate there. But, we must remember, all of the Bible was one oral tradition.

Jesus instructed us how to pray - other people are the we and us and our in the Lord's Prayer.

We should seek forgiveness for your sins and repent and ask a priest to absolve us of our sins...God breathed on man only two times in history. Once, when He breathed life into Adam and once when He breathed His Holy Spirit into the Apostles at Pentecost.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

“‘As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.’ And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained’” (John 20:21–23).

Christ told the apostles to follow his example: “As the Father has sent me, even so I send you” (John 20:21). Just as the apostles were to carry Christ’s message to the whole world, so they were to carry his forgiveness: “Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matt. 18:18).

This power was understood as coming from God: “All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Cor. 5:18). Indeed, confirms Paul, “So we are ambassadors for Christ” (2 Cor. 5:20).

Some say that any power given to the apostles died with them. Not so. Some powers must have, such as the ability to write Scripture. But the powers necessary to maintain the Church as a living, spiritual society had to be passed down from generation to generation. If they ceased, the Church would cease, except as a quaint abstraction. Christ ordered the apostles to, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” It would take much time. And he promised them assistance: “Lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age” (Matt. 28:19–20).

http://www.catholic.com/tracts/the-forgiveness-of-sins xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I am interested to see where in the Bible you say it says not to pray for the dead, or others. I am interested also to see where in the Bible you say it says all sins are equal to one another. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx God's intent is that we believe in Jesus and have everlasting life, but it takes more than simply believing in Him to ensure we do have it. Like I mentioned, even Satan believes in Jesus. Do you believe God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit or the Spouse of the Holy Spirit, the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, Queen of heaven speak to us today? Or, did God just let us alone in the world after Jesus' ascension into heaven? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Revelation 5 [7] And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat on the throne. [8] And when he had opened the book, the four living creatures, and the four and twenty ancients fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints:

You are Catholic. That answers a lot of questions for me. Thanks.
Have a great day!
